Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Phillips
On October 28, 2021, Elizabeth Anne Phillips died suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1944, in London, Ontario. Elizabeth was the widow of the late Douglas Phillips who died earlier in 2021. Daughter of the late James Schertzl and Margaret Nagy. Elizabeth is survived by her three children: Suzalie Ward (Michael), Martin Phillips (Jane), and James Steven Phillips (Lisa); six grandchildren: Justine Margaret Davis, Gerald Davis (Joy), Alexandra Lee Phillips (Christian), William James Phillips (Vanessa), Amy Margaret Phillips (Philippe), and Jackson William Phillips; two great-grandchildren: Kye Michael Davis and Layla Davis; and her rescued cat, Macska.
Elizabeth had a long career in the Public Service of Canada in Ottawa. Elizabeth had a passion for quilting. She loved the many friends she met in the quilting community both local and online. Elizabeth also left behind many friends in her condominium with whom she did crafts.
There will be no funeral service. The family will gather later when Elizabeth’s remains are placed in the Mausoleum of Remembrance at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Elizabeth
