Peacefully, and surrounded by her loving family, Liz Ross, age 75, passed away at Bluewater Health on Friday, October 22, 2021. Liz is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Dave Ross. She was the loving and treasured mother of Jeff Ross (Sharon), and Lori Gray. Adored Nana of Alexandra Ross (Alexander), Kyle Ross (Jen), Danielle Ross (Jarrod), Scott Gray (Jennah), Kevin Gray and Patrick Gray. Dearly loved sister of Mike Boyle (Lucy), Cathy Tius (Ross), sisters-in-law, Brenda Mumford (John), Lisa Krysko (Doug), Sharon Berry-Ross, and Patsy Boyle. Aunt Liz will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Sara, Jenny, Katy, Christopher, Tyler, Matthew, Claire, Caroline, Keri, Mike, Kim, Marcie and Sam, as well as her extended family and friends, with special mention of Fran Sharpe, her dear friend for many years. Liz was predeceased by her parents, Ward and Joan Boyle, mother-in-law, Irene Ross, father-in-law, Doug Ross, and brothers-in-law Murray Ross and Rob Ross. Born in Sarnia, Liz worked for many years as a school secretary for the Lambton County Separate School Board until her retirement in 1992. She was also a co-owner of Matheson Hardware alongside her husband, Dave, for 13 years. Special thanks to Dr. Spano and Dr. Maddison for their care and support of Liz at the end of her journey, and to the nurses in Palliative Care, especially to Cheryl, whose compassion for Liz and our family helped us through this very difficult time. In keeping with the wishes of Liz, there will be no visitation, and a private family service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation. Liz was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was the heart and soul of our family. Her unwavering support and love for all of us will forever be remembered, and we will cherish her memory always.
