Obituary
It is with broken hearts we have to announce that on November 15th 2020, Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Serner “Liz” (Nee Boyko) of St. Paul, AB passed away at the age of 79 years at the St. Paul Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Jody Eugene Serner (Tace) of Bonnyville and Lovana Katherine Harasem of Glendon; two grandchildren, Hailey (Willy) and Haiden Harasem both of Glendon. Brothers Dennis (Jodi) Boyko, Louie (Lorraine) Boyko, Jerry (Elaine) Boyko, Eddie (Joan) Boyko and Sisters Elsie Boyko and Pauline Kucher & numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Serner, parents, Mike and Katie Boyko, Sisters Debbie Orr, and Tilly Ardelian, Brothers Roman, Mike, and Harry Boyko.
At this time the family would like to thank the staff of the Vilna Lodge, Smoky Lake Healthcare and the St. Paul Auxiliary for caring for mom over the years as she bravely battled Alzheimer’s.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., St. Paul Senior’s Hall, St. Paul, Alberta with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating.
