Chapman, Elizabeth Eleanor (Nee Thomson):
Passed away peacefully at Golden Years Nursing Home on November 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Her memory will be cherished by her children Catherine Gendron-Kitamura (Glenn) and Stephen (Deborah) Gendron; She will be remembered by step children Nancy Chapman (Bob Hanson) and Jon (Joy) Chapman. Loving Nana to Chantal, Hannah and Cameron; Andrew, Laura and Jeffrey. Elizabeth is survived by her brother Richard Thomson (Susan Parke). She was predeceased by her husband Robert, her parents John and Mina and brother Donald.
Generous and affable, Liz was cherished by the “Out to Lunch Bunch,” and her Port Elgin and nursing friends. She was an avid sports fan, theatre attendee and a clothes fanatic. She was well known for her laughter and homemade butter tarts.
In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Woodland Cemetery in London, ON at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society – Lewy Body Dementia Research would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
