Elizabeth “Betty” Joan Wilson
Elizabeth “Betty” J.
Wilson, 84, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital
on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Ward and Greta (Douthwright)
Snyder.
Betty was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of
Parkside Baptist Church, the Lois Winters Missionary Group and served
her church in various other capacities over the years. Betty enjoyed
bowling at Fairlanes with the Eaton’s Seniors, watching old
movies and spending time with her family and
friends.
Betty will be sadly missed by
her children, Tim (Aline) of Scoudouc and Troy (Darlene) of Moncton;
grandchildren, Thomas (Lauren), Joshua, Selena and Tyler; great
grandchildren, Alice, Taylor and Charlotte; sister, Marguerite (Peggy)
Hicks (Ross) of Moncton as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by her husband, Floyd C. Wilson (May 2010); son,
Todd (2020) and brothers, Ron and Eldon
Snyder.
A private graveside service
will be held at Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
Arrangements entrusted to
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995).
In memory of Betty, donations
to a Living Memorial in Trust for her grandson, Tyler LeBlanc-Wilson,
c/o P.O. Box 1002, Moncton, NB E1C 8P2 would be appreciated. Online
