BUSILLA, Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Leskovics)
August 14, 1928 – November 24, 2021
Passed away peacefully on November 24th, in her 93rd year, with her loving family by her
side. Reunited with her husband George, with whom she shared 45 years of
marriage. Cherished mother to Kim (Frank) Stipancic. Adoring Grandma to Nickolas
(Kirsten), Steven, Frank, and Stefani. She is predeceased by her parents George and Ida
(nee Baka) Leskovics. Betty will be deeply missed by friends and family in Canada, USA and
Hungary.
Betty was a part of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Women’s League for over 50
years. Betty loved nothing more than her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always there and eager to help with anything she could. She was the sweetest, most
charismatic grandma and we are forever grateful to have been loved by her.
Betty regularly expressed what a nice, long life she had lived and was always grateful for her
blessings. Her reassurance has brought us peace during this difficult time.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and staff at
Seasons Retirement Communities for taking such great care of Betty every day. Another
thank you to the nurses and staff at Juravinski Hospital for their exceptional care and
compassion. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Visitation Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage, Hamilton, ON).
Funeral on Monday, November 29, 2021 leaving funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to arrive in procession at St. Margaret Mary Church (20 Idlewood Ave, Hamilton, ON) for 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass.
