Obituary of Elizabeth (Beth) Lennox
(nee Flegal)
November 13th, 1939 – December 3rd, 2021
It is with sadness we announce that Elizabeth Lennox (nee Flegal) passed away peacefully December 3rd at Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew. Daughter of the late Alex & Frances Flegal (nee Beattie), cherished wife of William (Bill) Lennox of Arnprior for 61 years. Loving mother of Janice Zimmerman (Jim) of Belleville, Jeff Lennox (Alison Grainge), Jennifer Jack (Jamie), Judy Nicholson (Kevin) and Jay Lennox (Colleen Johnston) all of Arnprior and Castleford. She adored all 12 of her grandchildren; Amanda, Ryan, Andrew, Ashley, Mitchell, Sarah, Jacob, Sarah, Emily, Abby, Jorja and Alice and her 8 great grandchildren; Chase, Cayden, Audrey, Lyall, Chloe, Grace, Alexandra and Dominic. She was predeceased by her brother Bob Flegal and sister-in-law Mary (nee Miller).
Beth had a loving heart and devoted her life to her family. There was always a seat at her table and a warm bed in her home for anyone in need. Every occasion required a celebration and she will be fondly remembered for many family gatherings over the years.
The family would like to thank the kind staff at Groves Park Lodge for their care and compassion.
Beth’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Friends are invited to join Beth’s family during open visitations Friday December 10th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at a later date. For those who would like to make a donation, please consider Groves Park Lodge or the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
