Elizabeth’s Obituary
Flinn, Elizabeth Anne – of Wilmot, Annapolis Co., passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 with terminal cancer in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton at the age of 65. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she was the daughter of Bill and the late Jean (Graham) Flinn. Elizabeth in a missionary roll, volunteered for a period in Haiti at a school for disabled children. Upon her return to Canada, she worked for 9 years as a CNA with the veterans at Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax. Due to her illness she had to retire. She was an animal lover and at the time of her death she had 3 cats which were hopefully going to their forever home. Elizabeth is survived by her father, Bill Flinn; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Carol and Wayne Morris for their continuous support for many years as well as to Marjorie MacDonald, Patricia Murphy, and Val Drew who were also very supportive during her illness. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton, N.S. toll free 1-855-825-3448. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Berwick, N.S or charity of choice for children in developing countries.
