Obituary for Eleanor Parr
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Jean Parr (Lumley)(nee Moran), of Petrolia, on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband and soulmate Ross Parr, late husband Jack Lumley, parents Vince and Aileen Moran, infant son John, step-son David Parr son-in-law David Keates, and her canine companion nosear. She is survived by daughters Darlene (John Stewart) Keats, Charlene (Dan) McMahon, Dori (Nick) Cotter, and Bobbi Lynn (Chris Cleaver) Lumley, step-daughter Kathy (Chris) Campbell and her family and the family of the late David Parr. Much loved grandmother to Erin (Paul), Meaghan (Fred), Courtney (Jeff), Nicky John (Sarah), Sheena (Justin), and Patrick. Proud great grandmother to Kylie, Leah, Harrison, and Aurelie. Survived also by siblings Colleen Abra, Mary Busey, Jack (Mary) Moran, Fran Murray, Ann (Lan) Evoy, Carol (Ian) Brown, Bill (Sue) Moran, and Sharon (Jim) Goodale. We would like to thank our family, friends, neighbours, C.E.E. Hospital, Charlene from V.O.N., and Bluewater Health Palliative Care for their assistance and support during mom’s challenges the last couple of years. A private mass will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, the live stream can be seen at www.facebook.com/NeedhamJay. Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery.
