Eleanor Kathleen Mary “Ellen” (Roode)
MacRae – 74, Belmont,
passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at Colchester East Hants Health
Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Carl
and Kathleen (Cator) Roode.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 38 years, Peter; very
special friend, Duke; son, John Berfelow; step-daughter, Elizabeth
(Jake) Wing; step-son, David (Shauna) MacRae; grandchildren, Kenzie,
Samuel, Katy; brother, David (Joanne) Roode; niece, Marissa Roode;
nephew, Matthew Roode.
Interment will be held at a later date in Belmont Cemetery.
If so desired, donations in Eleanor’s memory to Arthritis
Society or Canadian Cancer Society are welcomed.
