Eleanor Winnifred Binkley of Walkerton, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Leslie for 65 years, mother to Leslie (David) Berbeck of Barrie, and mother-in-law to Rebecca of St. Louis, MO. Proud grandma of Curtis (Julia), Dr. Jana (Adam Craig) Binkley, Kara, and Jordan. Eleanor will be missed by her brothers Bob (Win) Schmidt and Eddie (Hannah) Schmidt both of Walkerton, sisters Mary Lou Cox and Martha Monk both of Hanover.
Eleanor is predeceased by her son Randall, grandson Jonathan, brother John (Dolores), sisters Elaine (Bruce) King, Rita (Wally) Scott, Irene (Herb) Bohnert, brother-in-law Bill Cox, and her parents Edward and Edna Schmidt.
Friends and relatives are for visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. To register for visitation, please use RSVP on Eleanor’s memorial page. Proof of vaccination does not apply.
A private family memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A live stream will be available to the public through Eleanor’s memorial page.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
