Oros, Eldene Marie (nee Dixon) – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 at University Hospital, London, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Ron Oros for nearly 60 years. Cherished mother of Brent Oros (Monica Fagundes) & Todd Oros (Judith Eaton). Proud grandmother of Beau. Dear sister of Doreen MacDonald (David), Donna Chapin & Marilyn Pottruff. Predeceased by Mother Bessie (1996) and Father Benjamin (1945), sisters Leone Walker (2015), Onlee Bailey (2010), Wilma Vervaeke (2007). Also brothers Mowbray (2001), Murray (1951), brothers-in-law Frank Bailey (1978), Gerald Vervaeke (2009), Lloyd Walker (2010), Lorne Pottruff (2012), Ross Chapin (2019). Survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021, from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel the following day, November 25th, 2021, at 2:00PM (Proof of vaccination is required to allow the family to accommodate the number of expected attendees). In lieu of flowers, donations to The Arthritis Society of Canada or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
