Elaine M. Moulton
1946-2021
Elaine M. Moulton of St. Stephen, NB. passed away at the
Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021 after a long battle
with lung cancer.
She was born at St Stephen in 1946, daughter of the late
Murray and Velma (Lindsay) Gardiner of Meredith Settlement and
granddaughter of the late Cecil and Helen (Scott)
Lindsay.
Elaine married Gerald Lewis and they moved to Ontario. They
had three children, an infant son, Kelly, who died at birth and two
daughters: Kimberly Hayes (Glenn) and Sandra MacLean
(Clayton).
She also had four grandchildren: Clayton MacLean, Christopher
MacLean, Bryan Hayes and Ashley Hayes, four great grandchildren: Erin,
Emily, Isabelle and Amelia.
After the death of her first husband, Elaine married Keith
Moulton and moved back to St. Stephen in 2000 to look after her
father, who had cancer.
In addition to her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren, Elaine is survived by four sisters, Sharon
Guitar, Patricia Gardner (Tommy), Dixie Whittier (Gene), Bonnie
Whittier, one brother, Wade Gardner (Marcia), sister-in-law, Betty
Moulton, special friend Richard Daley and several nieces and
nephews.
Elaine was predeceased by her parents, two husbands and one
brother.
There will be no funeral service or visitation at this time.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Elaine may be made
to the Charlotte County cancer Society or a charity of one’s
choice.
