Obituary for
Eileen Hart
Eileen Hart (nee Latreille), a registered nurse for 50 years passed away at home, surrounded by her family and friends on November 1, 2021 – All Saints Day. November brings both joy and sadness to our family: The birth of our granddaughter Claire, the marriage of her daughter Karyn, the births of both her father-in-law Fred, and her father Albert as well as the death of brother-in-law Eric.
Eileen leaves a void in the lives of her husband Russell, daughter Karyn (Sean), granddaughter Claire, sisters Rita Cameron Kirkey (Bryne, Bob), Susan McNish Harland (George) Denise McNish (Stan) and Louise Latreille-Dixon (Ralph). She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Irene (Saucier) Latreille and sister Claire Smith (Donnie). She had a large circle of close friends who will miss her including Dona Hart, Jason Hart and family, Pat Hamilton, many cruising buddies including Betty, Evelyn, Peter, Marcel, Monique and several close neighbours from Long Sault, Kitchener, Brampton and Stratford.
Special thanks to staff at CCH, Ottawa Civic Hospital and to Patrick Campeau and team from Nurse Next Door for the care provided to Eileen.
Service will be held at St Andrews parish on November 13, 2021 at 10am followed by interment at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. Due to capacity restrictions at the church, please allow priority access to family. Donations to an organization of your choice are appreciated.
