Obituary of Eileen Elizabeth Casselman
Passed suddenly on September 20, 2021 at the age of 79 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at 1:55 p.m. with her husband by her side. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Hamilton, as well as her brother Patrick and her sister Helen. Eileen leaves behind her partner and best friend of 48 years Wayne Casselman; her sons Rick, Rob (Ainsley Wilding), and step-children Sean Craig and Angela Christine; her cherished granddaughters Liliane and Ariana; her siblings Charlie, Rose, and Theresa. Eileen was active in her community, often volunteering her time to help others and giving back in any way she could whether it was charity fundraising or simply visiting and spending time with elderly members of her community. She was an auxiliary member of Legion 192 in Carleton Place, and a proud member of the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers. The family would like to thank Dr. Lesiuk and all the nurses and staff of the ICU who took such good care of Eileen, as well as Rev. Barry Carr for officiating the service which will take place on Friday September 24, 2021 at the Cimetiere de la Nativite (901 McConnell Avenue, Ninth St E & McConnell, Cornwall Ontario). If desired, memorial donations to Legion 192 in Carleton Place, or to the Ottawa Civic Hospital, would be greatly appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Eileen
