It is with great sadness that we announce our mom’s passing.
Proud mother of her children, Gary (Jan), Bruce, Gail Mitchell (Stephen), Cindy (Robert Sisson). NONA to 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many others she nurtured over the years.
Mom never stood still. Over the years she gave back through community boards and committees. Eileen was a 4-h leader, a cub master and a guider. Even with her community work, her job and raising a family she studied for over 20 years and obtained her BA from Laurentian at 65!
There will be a private family memorial service.
Donations can be made in mom’s name to diabetes or heart and stroke foundations.
