It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Eileen Emily Janzen. She passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital on February 3rd, 2021 at the age of 66 after her long battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry & Emily Dorosz & her husband of 35 years Merv Janzen.
Eileen will be loved & missed immensely by her daughters, Miranda Dixon (Don) & Christina Budney (Steven) and her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hailey & Jake. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Cheryl (Ron), Pat, & Michelle (Shawn) as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Due to current restrictions, there will be a private family viewing at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home on February 19th, 2021 and a burial service at St. Michael’s cemetery on February 20th 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for all those unable to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Society.
