Obituary for Edwin ‘Tony’ Pinnance
Edwin ‘Tony’ Pinnance, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the age of 62. Tony is the son of the late Meldrum and Stella Pinnance. He will be missed by his wife Vanessa (nee Kahosed), and his children Ryan Pinnance, Anna Pinnance, Sky Smith and Stella Smith-Pinnance. Tony will be remembered by his siblings Meldrum Jr., Harold, Darren, Dennis, Gail and the late Marty as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Tony’s great love was the outdoors where you could find him working his garden, fishing or serving for many years as a duck hunting guide. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 2 – 6 PM. Community visiting will resume at the Walpole Island Sports Complex, from 10 – 12 noon on Monday, March 8, 2021. A private family funeral will follow.
