Edwin Kenneth “Ted” Eperson
1944-2021
EPERSON, Ted
Peacefully and unexpected, after a brief illness, on
Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Guelph General Hospital. Loving
husband of 48 years of Jan Also survived
by his children Laura (Jeff) Fuhr of Mississauga, Jim, and Elizabeth
(Mike) Bowman all of Guelph and the 3 apples of his eye Alanna, Ozzy
and Evy. Remembered by his sister Margaret Fairchild of Nova Scotia
and brother-in-law Ed Maclaren of Prince Edward Island, cousins,
nieces and nephews.
Ted was a retired veteran of the RCAF serving 29 years then
started his second career at Environment Canada enjoying all his
travel. Retired once again he volunteered at the Warplane Heritage
Museum in Hamilton. Ted loved to fly and over the years has taught
many our civilian and military pilots their basis flight training.
Ted enjoyed his camping, fishing, and the wonders of nature
but most of his family that he loved so deeply.
Our deepest appreciation and thanks to Dr. Tom Tobin, Dr.
Grace Morrison, and all the staff of 5 East for their care and
compassion.
Cremation has taken place. Because of COVID
restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date when
we can all gather together. If desired, donations can be
made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes
Canada.
