Tributes
Steranka – Edward Peter
October 15, 1963 – October 13, 2021
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ed in China on October 13, 2021, in his 58th year.
Beloved husband of Cathy (Hall). Loving father of Allison (Max) and doting Judgie of granddaughter Evelyn; dear brother of Richard (Leslie) and Brian. Predeceased by his parents, Steve and Helen Steranka.
He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law, Bernice Hall, his sister-in-law Sandra Ball and his brother-in-law Duane Hall, his extended family and many, many dear and cherished friends.
He was a good man, a generous man, able to fix anything, an excellent shopper, avid hunter, and a life-long die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan who loved to travel for pleasure and for work.
A celebration of life will be held at Southgate Church (Kemptville), 1303 French Settlement Rd., Kemptville on Saturday, November 13th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a private reception. Due to Covid-19, registration is required to attend the service. It is the request of the family that those attending be fully vaccinated. To register please scroll below. A recording of the service will be available on Sunday, November 14th.
Those wishing, may make memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, or the charity of their choice.
We will remember him with love and laughter forever.
