Edward K. Blair of McAdam, NB passed away on April 9, 2021 at his
home. Edward was born on August 1, 1934 at McAdam, NB, a son of the
late John and Frances (Knowlton) Blair.
He is survived by his children, Tony Blair (Lugene), Oak Bay, NB,
Debbie Blair , McAdam, NB, Lyndie Blair (Barb), McAdam, NB, Kelly
McIntyre (Kevin), Georgia, US and Kerry Cleghorn (Fred), Harvey, NB;
thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great
great grandson; a brother, John Blair (Joan), McAdam, NB; a special
friend, Annie Anderson; sister-in-law, Donna DeMerchant (Fred);
brothers-in-law Ralph Thornton (Phyllis ) and Jack Thornton (Gloria);
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Darlene
(Thornton) Blair; a sister Jackie Rushton (late Duke) and two infant
great grandsons.
Visiting hours will be held at Rockland Drive United Baptist Church,
30 Rockland Drive, McAdam, NB on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 12 noon
until 2 pm with social distancing respected. A private funeral service
(by invitation only due to Covid 19) will follow with Rev. Alan Beck
officiating. Interment will be later at Rockland Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Eddie, the family
has suggested the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church or a charity of
the donor’s choice.
