Edward Hucaluk
Sadly,we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Hucaluk, aged 81 years, at the Betel Personal Care Home in Selkirk, MB, on Thursday, January 14th, 2021.
Edward was predeceased by his parents Lucas and Jennie, his son Shawn, brothers Marvin and Richard, partner Muriel, numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
Ed is survived by his children Roberta (Glenn), Sheldon (Leslie), Chris (Melanie) and his grandchildren. Also survived by his loving sister Marilyn (Art) and their children Amanda (Alan) and their children Owen and Hanna; Andrea (Randy) and their children Austin, Avery, and Kasen; sister-in-law Rose and her daughter Lisa; sister-in-law Mabel, auntie Jean and many cousins.
Ed was born in Winnipegosis and grew up on the family farm. He later moved to Thompson and was a dispatcher for trucking companies. Later on he moved to Selkirk until his demise. He enjoyed traveling to Grand Forks and his outings to South Beach.
I will miss your beautiful smile and bringing you coffee and a sweet treat from Tim Horton’s that we enjoyed.
A big thank you for the wonderful care provided by Betel Personal Care Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your choice in Ed’s name to Parkinson’s or Altzemiser’s Association.
In keeping with his wishes a graveside service took place at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Cemetery.
