Passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at Northhumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, Ontario in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Russ Quibell. Edna was predeceased by her parents George Murphy, Margaret (Harrington) Murphy and brothers Albert Murphy, Father Lou Murphy, Leo Murphy and Charlie Murphy.
Edna will be missed by her siblings Bertha (Albert) MacEachern, Florence (Bill) Ross; Millie (Charlie) Dawson, Georgina (Charlie) Monaghan, Harold Murphy, Art Murphy and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Edna’s passing is such a loss to her family and friends. For those lucky enough to have known her, they will remember someone with joy, compassion and a love for life and family. Her kindness and generosity touched many and will always be remembered and cherished.
A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 25th at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg from 2 to 4 pm. Due to COVID restrictions, this service will be limited to immediate family and close friends and those wishing to attend must R.S.V.P. at www.MacCoubrey.com.
