Edna Rosamond Micheelsen (nee Gosnell) passed peacefully on
September 12, 2021 following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving
daughters, Karin and Lisa Micheelsen. Edna was predeceased by her
beloved husband of 49 years, Gert (Mike) Micheelsen, as well as
parents Edith and William Gosnell, and siblings Albie, Fred, Dorrie,
Jinx, Margie, Maisie, Ken and Ray. In addition to her daughters, Edna
is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws, and two very
loving dogs, Clover and Artemis.
A small (owing to Covid) funeral has already been held at
Logan Funeral Home (519-433-6181) in London on September 16, 2021
which was followed by a private burial in the Union United Church
Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society
or the Ajax-Pickering Hospital Foundation.
The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff
on 4 West for their kind, compassionate and excellent
care.
