Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday, November 22, 2021. Edith Catherine (Stevenson) Briggs, at the age of 97 years. Wife of the late Gerald Briggs and Raymond Card. Loving grandma to Catherine Bezdeck, Nicole Coville (James), Jacoba Franks, Genevieve Fincher (Michael) and John Briggs. Also survived by a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Joan Card-Doane, a step son Greg Briggs and by a brother in infancy Earl Stevenson as well as her parents Margaret and Clarence Stevenson.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Thursday, November 25, 2021 from 12 noon until 2 pm when a celebration of Edith’s life will be held in the Chapel. Interment following in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Covid protocol will be followed with registration required online or by calling our office at 613-342-2828 between 9 to 4:30 pm.
