WELLER, Edgar Carl
Edgar Weller died peacefully, at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay, on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was 83 years old. Edgar was the beloved husband of Vivian (Fry) of Bear Valley. He was the much-loved father of Edward “Eddy” (Michele) of Port Loring and Lonnie (Jacquelyn) of Utopia. He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Mackenzie and Megan. Edgar is survived by his brothers Ronald and Frank Weller and was predeceased by his parents Elsie (Grawbarger) and Herman Weller, his siblings Helen Cobb and Norman, Earl, and Morley Weller. Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Alma (Peever) of Corbeil (the late Alfred Fry). Edgar operated, and was well known for, a bait shop at his home on Hwy 522 at Pine Lake, for many years. The family will receive visitors at Paul Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 12 noon to 2 pm with the funeral service following at 2 pm. Please note that COVID-19 protocols will be enforced with masks and physical distancing required. The family would like to thank the staff of the VON, Life Labs, and the PSWs, along with everyone at Nipissing Serenity Hospice who were so kind to Edgar and the family during Edgar’s illness. God bless them all. Cremation will follow with interment of ashes at Commanda Cemetery at a later date.
