Obituary of Eddie W. Williams
Eddie W. Williams age 80 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday July 14, 2021. He was born July 10, 1941 in Olean, NY the son of the late Glenn W. Williams and Esther L. Wallace Williams. Eddie received his Associate’s Degree from Alfred Tech and his Bachelor’s Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He married his wife Carol M. Yaw Williams on August 18, 1962 and she pre-deceased him on April 19, 2012. He was also pre-deceased by his brother Jerry Williams in 2018. Eddie was a Senior Equipment Engineer at the Fallbrook Plant of Corning , Inc. He was an avid bowler and enjoying fixing and re-building cars with his grandsons. Eddie loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Eddie is survived by his daughters and son-in-law: Laura and Christopher Oughterson of Elmira Heights, NY , Yvonne Drake of Big Flats, NY , and Jennifer Williams of Horseheads, NY ; cherished grandchildren: Katherine & Sean , Andrew , Eric, and Sara; adored great grandson Lane; sister: Judith Matteson of Addison, NY ; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Wednesday July 21, 2021 from 7-9 PM. Eddie’s Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday July 22, 2021 at 2 PM. Eddie will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Carol in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
