Earle Barclay Scott
1944-2021
Earle B. Scott of Nackawic, NB passed away peacefully, surrounded by
family, at Hospice Fredericton on January 6, 2021. He was born on
June 5, 1944 in Stonehaven, NB, a son of the late Eldon and Margaret
(Payne) Scott.
Earle was a life member of Southampton Branch 27 Royal Canadian Legion
and a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal. He loved being in
the woods, especially at the camp with all the boys.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice (Goodine) Scott; his children,
Lori Stith (Mike), Fredericton, NB, Michael Laurie), Picton, ON, Wendy
(Tony Feltmate), New Glasgow, NS and Jody (Jayson Derrick), Nackawic,
NB; grandchildren, Michael Stith (Brit Gordon), Alannah Stith (Michael
Lalonde), AJ Scott (Tiffany Whittaker), Tiffany Scott (Calvin),
Savannah Pitman, Bowman Pitman, David Grant (Bethany Stevens), Jonah
Grant and Rhiley Derrick; his siblings, Clotilda Ellis (late Douglas),
Alice Jagoe (late Cleveland), Eileen (Arthur Jagoe), David Scott (late
Mary), Lela Branch (Percy) all of Bathurst, NB; a sister-in-law, Elna
Scott; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in the Goodine
family, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings James (late
Doris), Rodney, Wendell (late Mabel), Grace Scott and Rena Taylor
MacDonald.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time due to
Covid 19.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Earle, the family
has suggested the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 27 or Hospice
Fredericton.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Fredericton, Extra
Mural, Ryan’s Pharmacy and Earle’s niece Dawn Bowie for
their care and assistance over the past several years.
