Earl’s Obituary
Earl Grigg passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021 at Providence Place in Moose Jaw, SK at the age of 95. Earl was predeceased by his parents, his wife Anne (2005), and his grandson Andy Johnson (2020). Left to cherish his memory is his son Glen Grigg and his daughter Darilyn Grigg; grandchildren Barry, Heather, Ryan, and Heidi; 5 great-grandchildren; his brother Lloyd and his sister Mildred as well as numerous other family and friends. Earl also considered the congregation of St. Andrew’s United Church his bothers and sisters. Earl was born in Moose Jaw, SK on February 15, 1926. He received his formal education at the University of Saskatchewan, the University of Montana, and the University of BC. He was a life-long learner. Earl was ordained in 1954 and spent most of his life ministering to the people of Moose Jaw. He was at St. Andrew’s United Church for five years and then went on to work at the Moose Jaw Public School Board, returning to ministry in Mortlach before retiring. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew’s United Church, 60 Athabasca St E, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 0X5. A Private Family Graveside will be held at Sunset Cemetery in the Spring. In living memory of Earl, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
