Dwight Ray Brown, of Wakefield, Quebec passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 66.
Dwight was born to parents Eldon and Shirley Brown on December 7, 1955. He grew up with one sister Nancy and attended Philemon Wright High School. In 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Joy Laporte. He worked for Scott Paper for over 25 years.
Dwight is survived by his daughters, Angela and Crystal, grand kids Kayla and Olivia, His sister Nancy and Kevin Taggart, niece Rylee and Sami and nephew David and Grace. He leaves behind his brother in laws; Stanley Dunn and Hilliard Dunn, as well as his niece Debbie and Brad St-Jean and great nieces Samantha and Madison and great nephew Austin.
Post as he was known to many, lost his long battle with Huntington Disease. He was known for his loud laugh his love of family and Febreeze. Dwight loved his wife Joy Laporte, above and beyond for over 40 years. He loved the Bruins, action movies and Star Trek on his big TV, KFC and his hometown.
A cremation has taken place and interment will take place in the spring. Friends are welcome to make donations to the Huntington Society in his name.
