Dr Mitchel de Beus Thursday July 8th 2021

It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of Mitch due to complications of Huntington’s Disease on July 8, 2021 at St Luke’s Place. He was 54.
He will be sorely missed by his family: his beloved wife Pamela (Salamon) of 32 years, his brother Chris (Deb); brother-in-law to Barbara & Alan Barr and David & Sheila Lynch-Salamon. He leaves behind nieces and nephews: Kyle de Beus, Brittany (Craig) Deschamps, Johnathan & Karalee Barr, Heather & Scott Wood, Alana Barr and Brendan (Sam) Lynch-Salamon. His great nieces and nephews: Colten, Payton, Ezra, Asher, Oren, Baby Barr and Jasper.
Also, his friends most notably ‘the gang’: Gregg & Marianne Davidson, Angela & Ric Carney, Elaine & Dave Shaw, Nelson & Sharon Batista and their extended families.
He was predeceased by his parents, Christiaan & Martha (van Otterloo) and his niece Chelsea de Beus.
I want to thank the staff and volunteers of St Luke’s Place, the group at Pride Stables, the various physicians that have helped up through this horrible disease and the Huntington Society and Grand River Chapter for all their support for over the years.
A memorial service will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home in Hespeler on Friday, July 23rd at 2pm.
Donations can be made to: the Huntington Society of Canada, Pride Stables or Great Dane Angels.
