Higgins – Dr. John
Elton Higgins passed away at his home surrounded by his family in
Venice, Florida on February 24, 2021. Dr. Higgins was born

Chief of Anesthesia at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical
Center.
Elton and Joline moved to Venice, Florida in 1984 where they
enjoyed thirty years of retirement together.
Elton is survived by three sons – Mark, Michael,
and Peter. He was predeceased by a son, James, and his
beloved wife, Joline.
Elton will always be remembered by his gentle nature, great
smile and infectious laughter. For years he would go down to
the Bahamas and provide free medical care on a remote island.
To this day, the Islanders speak of him with
fondness. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside.
Completed arrangements to be announced at a later date.
Interment later in Lot 16 United Church Cemetery.
