Douglas Stewart Seymour August 16th 2021

SEYMOUR, Douglas Stewart
1938 – 2021
Doug Stewart Seymour passed away at Lacombe Hospital on Monday, August 16, 2021, at the age of 82. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dorothy; his 7 children, Victorine Leaming, Christine Kozak, Susan Seymour, Angela Seymour, Jim Seymour, Tim Seymour, and Tom Seymour. Doug is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, as well as many neices and nephews who adored him. He is predeceased by his father, Fredrick Seymour; and mother, Marge Seymour; as well as his siblings, Yvonne, Joyce, Donna, Robert, and Alice.
Doug was born on October 7, 1938 near Big Muddy, Saskatchewan. He developed a love of reading at a very young age and was a sports enthusiast. He loved to play/watch hockey and golf but at the same time liked nothing more than a conversation about the latest sports news. Doug’s great sense of humour, wisdom, and wit continued with him till his last days, and often told his family that “Life is what you make it.”
Doug’s family was the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of Doug’s kind spirit, passion for sports, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through them, along with jokes that were always on his lips.
He will be deeply missed by all.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Douglas Stewart Seymour August 16th 2021..
