Obituary of Dorothy Sutherland
SUTHERLAND- Dorothy (nee Cote) of Port Colborne passed away at Northland Pointe on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Sutherland (1995), loving mother of Robert (Joanne), Larry and Doug (Kim), dear grandmother of Chris (Susan), Ryan (Robin), Deanna, Meagan, Dougie and Beau (Lindsay), great grandmother of Samuel, Oscar, Gracie, Sarah, Braden, Ava, Elaina, Kadi and Colbie, sister of Mildred Friedlein. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her parents William and Amelia Cote, her brothers Roland, George, Victor, Roy and her sister Pearl Quesnel. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne followed by the Rite of Committal in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
