Obituary of Dorothy Leila Robertson
ROBERTSON, Dorothy Leila (née Hearn) – Dorothy was born September 24, 1932 to the late Richard and Eve (née Hayes) Hearn in Harley Twp. and passed away surrounded by her family on May 15th, 2021 at the Temiskaming Lodge, Haileybury. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and reading. She had a love for sports. Even well into her 60’s, Dorothy was a pitcher in the slow pitch league and bringing her team to many consolation wins. She also was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf die-hard fan and was always ready for a good game of kick the can.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Kimberley (Michael Abraham), her son Terry (Kathryn Adie), her daughter Cindy (Barry Erickson) and her son Michael (Jennifer Johnston). She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband James Andrew in 1987, her daughter Tracey Lynne in 1996 and her son Marc Andrew in 2008.
The youngest child of Richard and Eva Hearn, she was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings, Delma Porteous (Bill), Arthur (Margaret), Richard (Wanita), Ivan, Ruth Hermeston and Mabel Meunier (Vincent).
Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private family burial was held at the Harley Township Cemetery.
