In loving memory of Dorothy Muncaster (George) (nee Lord) who passed away Sunday, December 19th, 2021 at Health Sciences North at the age of 91. Dorothy’s two passions in life was music and art. For many years she sang with local Women’s Barbershop groups, she also enjoyed Performing Solo and made lifelong friends singing with Northern Echo’s. Liking to keep her hands busy, she was skilled in crafts, needlework and Hardanger, and made the most beautiful greeting cards. Her family were always lucky to receive something homemade from Dorothy. She loved spending time Skype, Facetime and Social Media keeping contact with her friends and family both here and back home in England.
With flaming red hair, a vibrant smile and a positive attitude towards life she was loved and will be missed. Dorothy loved Christmas. Family and friends celebrate the holidays this year knowing her Christmas Spirit is present, her voice will be heard in the songs of the season.
Cremation has taken place; A Celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral home.
