Dorothy’s Obituary
Passed away at her residence on Tuesday October 26, 2021. Dorothy Elizabeth McInnis (Brodie) of Chatsworth, formerly of Markdale in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Bert McInnis.
Dear mother of Patrick Gillen (Sharon Stoddart), the late James Gillen (Shirley), Peg Palsson (Joe), Tim Gillen (Debb), Phil Gillen (Colleen), the late Robert Gillen, and Kathy Morrison (Edward).
Sister of Angeline Ramsey (the late Clarence), Florence Perry (the late Gordon), James Brodie (Dianne) – both deceased, and Harold Brodie (Leona).
Sadly missed by step-children Robert McInnis (Debbie), Howard McInnis (Bev) and Ida May Doucette (Ralph) – both deceased.
Dorothy will be remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and predeceased by one grandchild. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Markdale Cemetery on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
