Dorothy
Padget of Fredericton passed away at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital
on November 29, 2021. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the
late Raymond and Pearl (Burse) Gorman.
Dorothy was an avid crafter, she was a member
of Nackawic Weslyn Church and she loved to come to Faith Baptist
Church with her daughter Catherine.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her husband of
67 years Alton Padget, their children, Susan (Kevin Munroe), David,
and Catherine, grandchildren; Cole Ti, Lynde, Heather and James, great
grandchildren, Leanne, Kathryn, Eva, Elizabeth, Katey, and Henry,
great-great grandchildren, Jacob, Trevor and Aubrie. 2 brothers Allan
and Pete Gorman as well as several cousins’ nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her sister
Leona.
Visitation will be held from Bishop’s
Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. on Wednesday December
1st from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A celebration of her
life will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM on
Thursday December 2nd with pastor Larry
Matthews officiating. Proof of double vaccination and
government issued ID is required to attend visitation and service.
Burial will take place at a later date in the Faith Baptist
Cemetery. Donations in memory of Dorothy can be made to the
NB Heart and stroke Foundation
