On Sunday, December 19, 2021 Dorothy Mergl passed away with family by her side in Wheatland Cottage Continuing Care, Vermilion, at the age of 88 years. Dorothy is loved and remembered by her Children Donna Poliakiwski of Mannville, Brenda (Stan) Tiffinger of Vermilion, Pat (Brian) Badry of Vermilion, Angela Mergl of Regina; Grandchildren Kory (Angel) Poliakwski, Rhonda (Devon) Whitten, Tara (Trevor) Steffler, Darcy (Nicole) Tiffinger, Jennifer Horbach, Kim (Travis) Nicholson, Jordan Mergl, Amy… Read More » (Ademola) Olobayo, Adam Badry; Great-Grandchildren Cassidy, Autumn, Dawson, Jozlyn, Jolie, Abel, Braedon, Alana, Jenna, Kohl, Kade, Chris, Presley, Peyton,Wyatt, Ademina, Lani, Kirah, Ariah; Great-Great Grandchildren Emerson, Sadie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her Son Bryan; Sons-in-law Ron Poliakiwski and Ken Myers; Grandson Derrick Poliakiwski; Parents James and Elizabeth Grant; as well as her Brothers and Sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service is being held at Creech’s Lakeland Funeral Home.
If so desired donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Friends of Vermilion Health Centre (Memo: Long-term Care Fund), Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of donor’s choice.
