Obituary of Dori Schaefer
SCHAEFER, Doris Helen “Dori” (nee Voisin).
Passed away at University Gates, Waterloo on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the age of 85 years. Loving mother of Cher McGlynn (Dennis), Lori Muter (Brad), Todd Schaefer and Brad Schaefer (Paula). Cherished grandma of Jen, Jeff, Chad, Amie, Tara, Kailee, Ashly, Justin, Matthew, Josh, Andrew, Brooks and Jasmine and to 13 great grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Ken Voisin (Betty) and Gloria Mayhew (Jerry) and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Loretta Voisin and two brothers Harve and Bob.
Dori will be remembered by many for her infinite motherly love. A special thank you to the staff at University Gates, especially in the Hagey neighbourhood for their exceptional care over the last five years.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 2-5pm. Those wishing to attend the visitation must RSVP to the funeral home 519-745-8445 and wear a personal face covering while attending. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held. Private interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
