Obituary of Doris Ann Lindsay
LINDSAY, Doris (nee Shand) of Port Dover in her 91st year, passed away with family by her side on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at Dover Cliffs LTC. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Donna Cormier of Simcoe Peter and Kathy Lindsay and Ted and Michele Lindsay all of Port Dover. Proud grandmother of Brad (Meaghan) of Simcoe and Bryan (Monica) of Alberta. Cherished great-grandmother of Bella and Macson. Aunt Dorie will be sadly missed by her beloved nieces and nephews. Dorie enjoyed baking, knitting, going for walks and shoveling snow in the winter. Predeceased by her husband Mac, parents Peter and Isabella, brothers and sister-in-laws Jim and Marion Shand, John and Marie Shand and George and Mary Shand, sisters and brother-in-laws Alice and Dave Krull and Mary and Conrad Cuerrier. All services will be private. Special thanks to the staff at Dover Cliffs LTC for their kindness and care they gave to Dorie. Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 519-583-1530.
