It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce Doris Klein passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 12, 2021 at the age of 88 years. She resided at William Booth Special Care Home for the past 8 years in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Doris was predeceased by her husband Rochus and son Lyle. She will be greatly missed by her children Jocelyn, Joyce (Garnet), Janice (Dave) and Kim (Michael); her grandchildren Stacey (Chris), Sheena (Shane), Brandi, Kira and Ryan; and great-grandchildren Jennifer and Kaitlin.
Doris was incredibly caring with a generous spirit. She taught her children how to love and what it means to be a family. Despite her disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Doris remained positive and kept her sense of humor. Her love for her family, faith and enjoyment of recreational activities remained strong. She had a deep love for pets that almost meant as much to her as her love for her children, which has been passed on to her children and her grandchildren.
“A Mother is the one we count on for the things that matter most of all. A Mother holds her child’s hand for just a short time but holds their heart forever.” We love you Mom!
Our family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and support during this time, especially the staff at William Booth Special Care Home.
The Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Sedley, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to William Booth Special Care Home.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Doris Klein December 12th 2021..
