It is with heavy hearts that we announce our dear Eileen has passed away from a dementia related illness at the age of 90 years. Eileen was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and spent her childhood in Piapot, her adult years in Calgary and then to Innisfail, Alberta. While her last years were challenging, we were blessed to have so much time with her. Eileen’s bright laugh and social spirit made her many friends along the way, in her travels and at home, where she enjoyed bowling, cards, bingo and settling in to watch a baseball game. Her inner strength and strong will brought her far in life. She was loved and had so much love to give in return. Eileen is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Gail Nee of Fernie, British Columbia and Kathy Caron (Mike) of Courtenay, British Columbia and her grandchildren: Kristi Cyr (Sean) Lethbridge, Alberta, Corey Nee (Tesha) of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Elodie Caron of Calgary, Alberta, Jesse Caron (Candice) of Courtenay, British Columbia, Kirby Ingmarson (Jennifer) of Red Deer, Alberta, and seven great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Gwen Riley of Medicine Hat, Alberta as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Gord St. Dennis, her first husband Joe St. Dennis and her second husband Percy Kinniburgh, her sister Lorraine and her sister Audrey. Due to Covid, no service will be held. Thank you to Sunset Manor for her excellent care.
