Doris Camilla Pearse Saturday January 30th 2021

Pearse, Doris Camilla
One hour into her 95th year, our beloved Doris Camilla Pearse (nee Hooper) died peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Born and raised in a naval family in Plymouth, England in 1927, Doris later married the man of her dreams, Arthur Pearse, a Chief Electrical Artificer in 1949. Doris and Art had three beautiful girls, Christine (Chris), Maxine (Mike), Debbie (Paul) before emigrating to Canada in 1956. In Canada, Doris lived a busy life raising her family and working at various jobs and hobbies such as the Board of Education in Bracebridge, Ontario as well as baking, weaving and operating a greenhouse with her husband. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Art, of 71 years and her family including her four grandchildren, Mike (Zoe), Cassie (James), Ben (Charlene), Cam (Amy) and ten great grandchildren: Vivian, Celia, Meredith, Hannah, Adam, Allergra, Everett, Emerson, Colin and Owen, as well as her many friends. The entire family would like to thank the staff and friends at Taunton Mills and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time. A celebration of life will be held for immediate family at Barnes Funeral Home in the near future. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation are appreciated
