Obituary of Dorinda Ann McLeod
McLEOD: Peacefully, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Thursday, September 9, 2021, Dorinda Ann (Diggins) McLeod, of Grand Bend, age 77. Beloved wife of the late David “Neon” James McLeod (2010). Loved mother and mother-in-law Carrie and Dave Grainger of Grand Bend. Loving grandma of Jordan. Dear sister-in-law of the late Madlyne (Sanders) Deane, Kathy and the late Steve Augustin of London, the late Chuck and Jeannine McLeod of Strathroy. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and P. Ethel (Pyecraft) Diggins and parents-in-law Bryce and Irma (Bull) McLeod. As per her wishes, cremation will take place. As a young woman, Dorinda was passionate about Ballet, she performed with the Dorothy Scruton London Academy of Dance with hopes of joining the National Ballet. Dorinda and Dave were the owners of Acme Neon Signs, Exeter, for many years. She was awarded the Paul Harris Award for her lifetime Service with the Grand Bend Rotary Club. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
