Obituary of Doreen Ann Parlee
It is with great sadness the family of Doreen Ann Parlee announces her sudden passing at DECH on September 30th, 2021.
Doreen was born in Minto, NB to Clarence and Nellie (Austin) Quigley.
Doreen spent a large part of her work life as the cook/manager at the Omega Restaurant in Minto. Her home-made recipes put the Omega on the map, she even had a knack for Chinese cuisine.
Survived by husband, Carman Parlee; daughters, Vickie Chase (Johnny), Janice Petitpas (Jimmy), Lisa Brogan (Jason), Shelley Storey (Mark); brother, Allan Quigley (Janice); grandchildren, Troy Chase (Noella), Jeff Chase (Dawn), Amand Petitpas (Anthony), David M. Black, Lucas Storey, Logan Storey and Evan Brogan; great grandchildren, Ryley Chase, Marissa Chase, Cohen Storey and Jude Powell; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Lester, Floyd, Arnold, Carter and Gary; sister, Bernice Casey.
Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday from 5 – 7PM. Masks are mandatory and will need to provide proof of vaccination and government issued ID for both visitation and service. Due to covid restrictions family only for Funeral Service 11:00AM Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. For those who wish, donations made to the MEMS Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family.
