It is with broken hearts, we announce that Doreen passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 19th at the age of 74, at the Queensway Carleton in Ottawa, Ontario, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her father Orville Macartney, her beloved husband Terrence and brother Donny. Survived by her mother Gladys Macartney and daughter Jody McCombe (Kevin). Cherished grandmother to Chelsey Smith (David) and Thalia. Dear partner of Laurie Wilson. Loved sister-in-law of Dee Macartney (the late Donny) and aunt of Laura and Trevor.
She will be missed my many dear friends.
Due to covid restrictions, the service will be private. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at the home of Jody and Kevin McCombe, 240 Cyd Street, Carp, on Thursday, September 2nd from 1pm – 4pm. In person attendance is by registration, using the RSVP tab below.
