Doreen Annie Lahaie 2021

Lahaie, Doreen Annie, Truro Heights, our beloved wife,
mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Doreen Lahaie-Fleet
passed away with her loving family surrounding her in her home on June
22, 2021 at the age of 70. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of
the late Timothy and Faustina (Doyle) Fleet. After working at Wendys
for 15 years as a manager she became a stay at home mom where her love
for crafting and red hatting grew more and more everyday. She loved to
spend time at her camper with all her friends and family, sitting by
the fires and playing lots of washer toss. She was loved and admired
by all around her and brought peace and joy into everyone’s
lives. Her memories will carry on in our hearts.
Survived by her loving husband Larry Lahaie; sister, Janice
Leights; brother, Pat Fleet; her four daughters Tracey Spencer(Mike) ,
Tina Godbout, Nicole Lahaie-Kubas(Tim), Michelle Lahaie; her 3
grand-daughters, Kaylee, Hannah and Brooke.
Besides her parents she was predeceased be her Step-Father
Edward Casson and brother David Fleet.
No visitation or funeral service by family request.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral
Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Her family would like to thank the
Palliative Care Nurses, Caregivers and VON for all their kind generous
time they spent making Doreen feel Comfortable and Happy. Donations in
Doreen’s memory may be made to the Colchester Food Bank or
to a Charity of Choice.
