It is with sadness that we announce the passing on Friday, September 10, 2021 of our beloved mother and grandmother, Dora, in her 101st year, peacefully at Meadow Park Care Center in London, Ontario.
Reunited with her beloved husband Herbert (1996), Loving and devoted mother of Bill, mother-in-law of Mary K. and grandmother to Aaron. Predeceased by brothers John, Paul and Sam; and sisters Annie, Mary, Julia, Pauline, Stella, Helen, Maggie and twin sister Ethel. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She had a green thumb and loved to garden vegetables and flowers. She was a champion of needlepoint. Last but not least, everyone loved her homemade noodles, perogies, and spare ribs.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. A celebration of Dora’s life will be held in October. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario 180-633 Colborne St., London, ON N6B 2V3. Arrangements entrusted to McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, Lambeth (519) 652-2020.
