Obituary of Donna May Daniels
Daniels, Donna May – Age 67 of Bridgewater passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with family by her side. Born in Bridgewater, July 9, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Jean Daniels and stepfather, Sam MacLellan. Donna is survived by her daughter, Angela (Shawn) Hartman, Bridgewater; sister, Beverly (Lawrence) Iyoupe, Bridgewater; brothers, Joey (Joanne) Daniels, Hebbville; Jerry (Christine) Daniels, Bridgewater; Dougie (Yvonne) Daniels, Bridgewater; John (May) Daniels, Bridgewater; David (Janet) Daniels, Maitland; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Dakota Lynn, and Chantelle Boudreau. She was predeceased by her mother, Jean and Jean’s partner, Sam MacLellan and nephew, Timothy Daniels.
Donna was very proud of her volunteer work at South Shore Regional Hospital as a red vest volunteer and wore many badges and pins to show it. She was also involved with the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Community Café, every Wednesday night. Donna loved the time she spent with her New Life Christian Church family. A special thank you to Pastor Brian for keeping the church updated on Donna’s progress and for visiting Donna everyday during her illness. Above all, Donna loved her family and cherished her daughter and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held. Arrangements are in progress. Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Journey Room at South Shore Regional Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater where on-line condolences may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
